Organic Cotton

Cotton is much more absorbent than synthetic fibres and always lies softly on the skin. Especially organic cotton has a very low allergy potential and is therefore a material for almost everyone. Furthermore, our organic cotton is very robust and can be ironed and washed hot. At the end of its lifespan, all our 100% cotton fabrics can be recycled and turned into new fabrics. Thus this fabric has the potential to contribute to the recycling economy.

No toxic chemicals are allowed in the production of organic cotton, so plants need 88% less water and 62% less energy. Cotton is usually grown in areas where water is scarce, while organic cotton is fed 80% by rain.

Our organic cotton fabric carries the GOTS label, a globally recognised standard which ensures that the most ecological and socially responsible methods have been used in its production.

As standard we use heavy cotton quality such as our jersey at 160-180g/m2 for t-shirts and our sweat fabric at 350g/m2 for our hoodies.

Our products for t-shirts (jersey):
100% organic cotton classic (180 g/m2)
100% organic cotton super-soft (150 g/m2)

The difference between these two fabrics is the finishing and the fabric weight. Our Classic Jersey is a smooth jersey fabric with a good grip and a nice weight. The Super Soft Jersey, on the other hand, is extremely soft (extremely extremely!) and is especially popular during the colder months.

100% organic cotton, summersweat (340 g/m2)

After a long search we have found a robust but soft hoodie fabric in our Classic Sweat. If you want the hoodie to be extra soft, choose the hoodie including fleece inside (wintersweat). For those who want the hoodie a little thinner, may order it without fleece (summersweat).
