History

Our story began in 2012, when Klaus founded the fashion label Vresh. It soon became clear that “sourcing” was one of the biggest challenges.

Initially we worked with local printers and finished standard T-shirts, but only rarely could our expectations be fully met. In order to be able to produce our own creations, we needed a real textile producer and finding one was more difficult than we thought. After some mistakes we finally found one in Portugal.

The handling of each individual collection and the numerous visits on site made us more and more familiar with the topic of textiles. In the course of time, more and more start-ups and companies, which deal intensively with employer branding, approached us because they liked our products in terms of quality and appearance. And so, it was clear that we could use our know-how and network to create the best textile solutions for companies, associations, bands etc. At the end of 2017, the time had come, and we officially started with “Das Merch.

In the meantime, we have made many friendships besides a production network of about 15 partners. Instead of working with agencies or agents, we invest our money directly in our production partners and help them to improve their processes and modernise their facilities. Thanks to our office in Portugal, we have been able to set up our own production cycle where we control the entire supply chain. Until your product is finished, we work with about 8 different companies, all of which are specialised in a few processes such as printing, cutting or tailoring. In this way we are able to offer high quality, transparency and competitive prices.

Now we are sitting here in our office-showroom-shop-hybrid in the tobacco factory and we are happy about every customer visit. With more than 300 satisfied customers we have already created a broad basis for a sustainably successful company.
